Understand the latest leaks about the Xiaomi 14. The device should have thinner edges than the iPhone 15.
The Xiaomi 14 could soon be announced as the brand's new top-of-the-line smartphone and although the manufacturer tries to keep this a secret, several leaks have revealed the alleged specifications and design of the device that will succeed the Xiaomi 13. This includes the ability to have the thinnest screen edges on the market.
Last Thursday (19), a user on the Chinese social network Weibo published photos showing the front design of the new cell phone. Although it is a suspicious clue, the element that reveals the identity of this model is the HyperOS logo, which should replace MIUI from Xiaomi 14 onwards. Check out the leaked information about the device below.

Even thinner edges
During the launch of the iPhone 15 Pro, Apple emphasized the changes that allowed it to reduce the thickness of the edges of the phone's screen. However, if the leaked images represent the Xiaomi 14, it can be assumed that the Chinese model has much thinner edges than the competition, in addition to a discreet hole to house the front camera.
Another detail visible in the photos is the flat frame with a metallic finish and the volume and power buttons placed on the right side. The images do not reveal what the rear design of the phone will be like, but previous leaks suggest that the phone will have a similar shape to its predecessor. That is, with small adjustments to the camera block, possibly with a larger quadratic lens and with rounded edges.
It is assumed that the Xiaomi 14 It will be equipped with a 6.44-inch panel with OLED technology, 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and support for Dolby Vision and HDR10+. The highlight of this display is the maximum brightness of 2,800 nits. Under the hood, the phone will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 platform, which is expected to be announced next week. In terms of imaging capabilities, this model is expected to have a triple camera setup with 50MP sensors for the main lens, wide-angle lens, and telephoto lens.
Other specifications are expected to include a 4,600 mAh battery, IP68 certification, Bluetooth 5.4 and a new HyperOS interface.
90W charging
Xiaomi is rumored to launch its flagship Xiaomi 14 series in China in November this year. The series is expected to include three smartphones: Xiaomi 14, Xiaomi 14 Pro, and Xiaomi 14 Ultra. Recently, other third-party specifications were leaked by tipster Digital Chat Station. Now, the Xiaomi 14 has passed the 3C regulator and the 90W charging support is revealed in the certification.
The Xiaomi 14 has appeared in the Chinese Body 3C database with the code 23127PN0CC. The document confirms support for fast charging and 5G connectivity, which is not surprising for a flagship device. With that, the certification shows that Xiaomi will make a worthwhile upgrade over its predecessor. It is worth remembering that the Xiaomi 13 It was launched last year with support for 67W fast charging. Another leak mentioned that the Xiaomi 14 will come with MIUI 15 skin as default.
Currently, the launch date of these smartphone models has not been determined yet. According to tipster Digital Chat Station, Xiaomi is planning to launch the series before November 11, while Xiaomiui claims that the devices will be officially launched in the first week of November.
