The technical specifications of the Xiaomi 14 have been leaked in a post on Chinese social media platform Weibo. The post includes posters that claim to promote phones with specifications listed in Chinese. According to the data, the smartphone will be equipped with a 6.44-inch OLED display, 120 Hz frequency and a maximum brightness of 2,800 nits.
The model's performance should be boosted by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, which Qualcomm has yet to launch. Read on to see the rest of the leaks.
Xiaomi 14
There is no release date for the Xiaomi 14 family yet. In addition to being bright and having good frequency, the Xiaomi 14's screen should support Dolby Vision and HDR10+ technologies. In terms of processing, it is expected to be equipped with the successor to Qualcomm's top-of-the-line processor, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.
The chip is paired with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 internal storage. The battery capacity is expected to be 4600mAh. The Xiaomi 14 is expected to come with a 90W charger, allowing for very fast charging. Additionally, according to the leaked specs, the phone is expected to support 50W wireless charging and 10W reverse wireless charging (which allows one smartphone to be used to charge another, 'renting' the battery).

And speaking of the system, Xiaomi announced this Tuesday (17) that it is ending the MIUI interface used in its cell phones and replacing it with HyperOS. The new interface is also based on Android, but also on operating system Xiaomi's own mobile phone.
HyperOS will debut on the Xiaomi 14 phone, which is expected to launch in China later this month. The announcement about HyperOS and the launch of the upcoming Xiaomi smartphone was made by the company's CEO Lei Jun on his social media handles.
When asked when HyperOS will be released for the global version of the device, the company representative said that the interface will be launched in other countries from 2024. The company did not release any images of the new interface, only its logo.
HyperOS focuses on the Internet of Things
According to the manufacturer's explanation, Xiaomi's new interface was developed with integration with the Internet of Things (IoT) in mind. Xiaomi manufactures almost everything, from smartphones to rice cookers, so introducing an operating system focused on IoT is the right strategy.
