Korean brand aims to change the way cell phone repairs are carried out. Check out Samsung's initiative.

Samsung Latin America has announced the launch of its global self-repair program, Repara Contigo, in the Brazilian market. This initiative aims to provide consumers with an additional repair option, as well as greater convenience in maintaining their Galaxy devices, thus reducing electronic waste.

Virgilio Moreira, Senior Director of Customer Service for Samsung Latin America, said that Samsung is committed to encouraging users to enjoy optimized performance on their Galaxy devices for as long as possible. This is another initiative in that direction, expanding access to repairs and capabilities for our consumers.

Repair with you

The self-repair kit includes the following items: smartphone screen, charging port, back cover, among others. In addition, interested parties are also provided with a tool kit containing all the elements necessary to carry out the service and manual instructions.

As a first step, the program now offers repair support for nine models, including all three versions of the Galaxy S20, S21, and S22 smartphone series.

Qualified repair through Samsung

The company also offers in Brazil and will soon launch the program “Samsung With You” in other countries in the region, providing interested independent repairers with access to original parts and information that meet the brand’s standards, essential elements to achieve reliability and longevity of service.

Technicians participating in the program will have access to guides and manuals to carry out repairs on the brand's products, including smartphones, televisions and household appliances, allowing professionals to always stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies.

Access exclusive benefits through Select+

Along with the announcement of the new foldable smartphonesGalaxy Z Fold5, Galaxy Z Flip5 and Galaxy Tab S9 series tablets, Samsung has launched an exclusive benefit throughout Latin America for buyers of the products: Select+.

The support program aims to provide additional assurance to users of top-of-the-line devices through a differentiated and prioritized service experience. Benefits include priority access to exclusive support channels and replacement of protective films.

In addition, the program also offers priority service at Samsung brand service stations. They are available in the main capitals and large urban centers of the countries in the region. Another advantage of Select+ is access to exclusive content shared within the Samsung member community, such as videos and tutorials with explanations and FAQs. In addition, they will have step-by-step instructions on various functions of Samsung's latest top-of-the-line smartphones.
