The launch is expected to only take place in the last quarter of the year. Find out why!
The iPhone 15 will be released later this year, with new features and tools, and is considered the most expensive phone to be sold by Apple, so far, even before its launch. The phone is more advanced than the brand's current phones, and therefore, it is expected to be worth around 20% more expensive than the iPhone 14. However, the manufacturer expects the number of sales to be quite high, better than the sales of the most current model, which was launched last year.
According to technology experts, it was already assumed that the model would be launched during an event in September. However, some current rumors suggest that the launch of the device will be postponed and the official announcement of the model's details, as well as the start of pre-sales, will take a little longer to happen.
If you're looking forward to this release, find out all the details now!
iPhone 15
The new cell phone Apple brand should have interesting new features, such as a larger and much better battery than the iPhone 14, a more curved finish, different from the current design followed by the brand, and the screen should have 6.1 inches in iPhone 15 and the iPhone 15 Pro, while the iPhone 15 Plus and iPhone 15 Pro Max are expected to feature a 6.7-inch display.
In addition, the new model will also have the Dynamic Island function, which shows a preview of notifications from some applications at the top of the screen, without taking up the entire screen. The 15 Pro Max model is also expected to have some features that the 15 Pro will not have, such as a periscopic lens, improving the zoom of images taken by the Pro Max.
The model is also expected to arrive in dark red, silver, gold and graphite, gray or black.
Values
It is estimated that the iPhone 15 Pro Max 128 GB, smaller storage space, costs around R$ 6,300.00, the 256 GB model costs around R$ 6,789.00, the 512 GB model costs R$ 7,760.00 and the 1 TB model costs around R$ 8,731.00.
These values have not been confirmed by the manufacturer, as the devices have not yet started to be manufactured and production costs have not yet been considered.
Launch
Rumors suggested that the new model would be launched in September, in a move that would be a good time for the brand. However, according to analyst Wamsi Mohan, the launch will take a little longer to happen, as there will be an increase in the delivery time for the supplies that will be used to manufacture the cell phones. According to him, the launch should only happen in the fourth quarter of the year, between October and December.
Experts are taking the analyst's prediction into consideration because he has been right on a few occasions. In 2020, he predicted that the pandemic would delay the launch of the iPhone 12, which is exactly what happened.
Mohan also believes that the delay in the launch will disappoint shareholders, as the company's revenue is expected to be around $87.1 billion, not $91.6 billion, as expected. In addition, sales are expected to be around 48 million units in the first few weeks after the launch, which is below the 51 million that the financial sector had expected.
