Discover the specifications of Motorola's new device. See what the Moto G54 will be like.
Motorola continues its race to compete equally with the best-selling cell phone brands, Apple and Samsung. To this end, the organization is investing in several segments. In the case of smartphones, the lines are increasing, both in relation to basic, intermediate and advanced models.
Recently, the company confirmed the launch of the Moto G54 5G, a mid-range phone with enough power to compete in the segment, as it is only a few steps below the premium model of the same brand. The official date for the world to get to know this new device came through the American company's official account on the social network Weib. Keep reading and see when the phone will be launched and what its features are.
Moto G54
The Moto G54 was already expected after several rumors circulating in technology communities, but it has only now been officially confirmed by Motorola. The brand, so far, has only confirmed the name and launch date.
Motorola's mid-range smartphone will make its global debut on September 5, at least in China. This mid-range product is rumored to be a device with a 6.5-inch screen and a 5,000 mAh battery.
Memory is a highlight, with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal free space, a reasonable level for a powerful mid-range product. There are already rumors that point to almost everything that Motorola should announce for the Moto G54 5G, but the company has not yet made clear all the specifications that the smartphone will deliver.
When it comes to Motorola, users already expect the battery to perform well, with plenty of battery life, as well as fast charging, which is already a hallmark of the company.
Looking at the expectations and rumors, it's possible to deduce that the Moto G54 5G will come in a variety of colors at launch, featuring a large display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 50-megapixel primary rear camera, and a secondary camera that could be ultra-wide or macro.
Other specifications
Furthermore, the G54 is expected to have Android 13 at its launch. Speaking of the front camera, the phone will have 16 MP. In addition, the smartphone may inherit some features from the previous generation, such as a fingerprint reader on the side and dual speakers for stereo sound. The Snapdragon 400 series chip – which could be the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2, recently launched by Qualcomm in June this year – should also be present.
There is no information about the price yet. However, based on the price of Motorola's latest mid-range devices, Moto G32 and the Moto G41, which are currently in the R$ 1,000 range, the price is expected to be similar. Even if the price is a little higher at the time of launch, the user can wait. The price should go down after a while, as has already happened with other devices from the brand.
Additionally, on the same day, Motorola is expected to unveil other smartphones, such as the Moto G84 and Edge 40 Neo, which were also recently leaked.
