Find out how to participate in the Revenue Auction. You can buy Samsung cell phones for a much lower price than the market.
The Federal Revenue Service will close this Monday (9), at 4 pm, the registrations for new auction proposals for items ranging from smartphones to various musical instruments seized from Samsung. There are a total of 500 lots of various items, such as kitchen utensils, various equipment, clothes, cars, among others.
The auction will be held online and will be hosted by the Revenue Office of the Port of Santos (SP). The event is scheduled to begin this Tuesday (10), at 10 am. More information about the auction and a list of items for sale can be found below.

What's in the Auction?
Interested parties should access the “Electronic Auction System” service through the e-CAC (Virtual Service Center) on the Federal Revenue website. After logging in, type “auction” in the “Search services” bar. You will see the option “Participate in auctions electronics of the Federal Revenue Service”.
In the cell phone bidding, the Samsung Galaxy A03 32 GB model has the lowest bid, starting at R$ 500 with 16 bids. The instrument package includes 15 lots of guitars starting at R$ 3 thousand and acoustic guitars starting at R$ 700. In the other cases, the lot with the lowest initial bid is a lot with office chairs starting at R$ 200, and the most expensive lot features some aluminum frying pans with a minimum bid of R$ 300 thousand. Only closed lots can be purchased.
How to participate
Only individuals registered in the Individual Taxpayer Registry (CPF) and over 18 years of age may participate in the Federal Revenue auction. Legal entities must be regularly registered in the National Registry of Legal Entities (CNPJ). The auction will be accessed through the “Electronic Auction System” service, which can be accessed through the Virtual Taxpayer Service Center (e-CAC). To participate, the legal guardian or authorized representative of an individual or legal entity must have a digital identification with a Silver or Gold level of authenticity for a GOV.BR account.
Can I see the product first?
If you want to evaluate the lot items Before bidding, it is possible to schedule a visit to the warehouse where the products are stored in the city of São Paulo, from 8 am to 11 am and from 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm (Brasília time) except Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. How is payment made?
The tax authorities require the winning bidder for each lot to pay the full amount (100% of the asking price/bid price) or a deposit (10% of the bid price). The late payment penalty will increase if not paid by the due date. If the title to the item has been formally transferred to the winning bidder or within seven (7) calendar days after the due date. All lots are exempt from federal taxes, but bidders are required to pay ICMS on the auction price, the calculation and payment of which are the bidder's responsibility. The Tax Office advised bidders to consult the information available on the SEFAZ/SP portal.
