Apple did not expect the high demand and buyers will suffer from delays in deliveries. Find out more about this!
The new line of iPhones was launched last week and caused quite a stir, with many users pre-ordering the devices, especially the iPhone 15 Pro Max, which is the most powerful device in the line. However, users who pre-ordered the model may take a while to get their hands on the new smartphone.
The delay in production and the high demand for the top-of-the-line cell phone have made deliveries difficult, which were scheduled to begin last Friday (22) in the United States. Now, buyers should only receive their cell phones in the middle of the second and third week of October. A real nightmare for those anxious, isn't it?
According to information from analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the iPhone 15 Pro Max has outsold its predecessor, the iPhone 14 Pro Max, in the post-launch period. Due to the high demand for purchases, the delivery time has become longer compared to the other cell phones in the line, the iPhone 15, 15 Plus and 15 Pro, which are being shipped normally to buyers.

Launch
Apple announced its new generation of smartphones globally on September 12. At the time, the iPhone 15, 15 Plus, 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max were presented, which then went on pre-sale. The company's initial forecast was that the new cell phones would begin to be delivered to its buyers on Friday (22). However, due to the high demand for purchases of the iPhone 15 Pro Max, which is the most complete in the line, the expectation now is that new orders for this model will only be completed in October, between the second and third week of the month.
Apple Insider expert Ming-Chi Kuo said the powerful version of the phone has already surpassed the iPhone 14 Pro Max in sales compared to the same period last year, when it was launched. Demand for the iPhone 15, the most basic model in the line, is similar to the launch of its predecessor. Demand for the iPhone 15 Pro is lower than that for the 14 Pro, which may indicate greater interest from users in the company's top-of-the-line model.
Delay
Apple's delay has had a significant impact on product shipments. According to information from the website 9To5Mac, the delivery date for the iPhone 15 Pro Max was changed to October just 30 minutes after pre-sales began. About two hours later, those interested in the model found a November forecast on the brand's official website.
Currently, delivery time is expected to be approximately one month after purchase.
Brazil
In Brazil, the pre-sale of the cell phone will start this Wednesday (27), with prices starting at R$$7,300. In the country, the 1TB 15 Pro Max model should cost around R$13,999. It will be available in Natural Titanium, Blue Titanium, White Titanium and Black Titanium, in the 256 GB, 512 GB and 1 TB versions. One novelty is that the model comes with a USB-C type input for charging, following a standard of the European Union.
