Find out which Samsung phones are not worth it. Understand the reasons why these devices are considered the worst of the year for the brand.

Samsung is the largest seller of smartphones in Brazil, but some of its products are not always the best purchase option, whether due to the cost-benefit ratio or simply because the devices are weak and poorly built.

The models on this list are still sold by Samsung, and while they may seem like good buys at attractive prices, that's not the case in 2023. So, check out the Samsung devices you shouldn't buy this year below.

Galaxy A03 Core: the slowest Korean cell phone

The Galaxy A03 Core was launched in 2021 as a basic smartphone option, perfect for those who only want basic features like checking the time and answering calls. Since then, Samsung has released other models in the category, including the Galaxy A04 and A05, but the A03 Core is still on sale on the company's website for the promotional price of R$ 750.

Despite the low price, you will regret buying the Unisoc SC9863A processor, which comes with only 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage, well below the current minimum price. Just buy it and you will get angry with the device. The crashes are the worst problem. So don't make the mistake of buying the A03 Core for yourself or as a gift for someone else. You could call it a “Greek gift”.

Is the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE no longer worth it?

The Galaxy S20 FE has been a dream for many people. Since last year we found it for an incredible R$ 1700. It was a very good price. After all, it is a phone with Snapdragon 865, 6 GB of RAM, 256 GB of storage, Super AMOLED screen with 120 Hz frequency and a great camera that allows you to take photos of anything at any time.

But as incredible as it may be, the Galaxy S20 FE is getting older, losing support for new Android updates and instead of falling in price, it's getting more and more expensive. Samsung continues to sell this device on its website for R$2,700 for the 128GB version, but make no mistake: the Galaxy S20 FE is a useless device at the moment, as it can no longer receive Android updates. And for that price, there are better and more modern options nowadays.

Galaxy A53 doesn't please gamers

If you want to play games on your phone, avoid the Galaxy A53 5G. Launched about a year ago, the device also has some interesting specs such as IP67 certification, a Super AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 64MP camera. However, when testing performance in games or more demanding tasks, it leaves a lot to be desired.

Samsung's own Exynos 1280 processor was a disappointment in every game we tested, and even received a sour NO RUN badge in Free Fire Max. That said, unless you want to be a punching bag for your enemies, this model isn't worth investing in. Especially considering its high price tag of R$2,440.
