  1. In the YouTube app on your phone, tap the “Connect” icon to start mirroring.
  2. Select the name of your desired TV or device to start pairing.
  3. A notice indicating that the phone has been linked to the TV for playback will be displayed on the YouTube screen on the television.

This method allows you to use your cell phone as a remote control, allowing you to play, organize playlists, fast-forward and rewind videos, and adjust the volume, all from your mobile device.

Connection by Code

First of all, if the TV does not appear in the device list:

  1. In the YouTube app on your TV, go to the side menu and select “Settings”.
  2. Choose “Link with TV code” first and follow the on-screen instructions to generate a code.
  3. In the YouTube app on your phone, go to the “Connect” icon, select “Link with TV code” and enter the code provided by your TV.
  4. After entering the code, confirm the connection and a message will be displayed on the TV screen confirming the link with the cell phone.
