In a test carried out by the Android Authority website, the iPhone 15 Pro proved to be hotter than its competitors when subjected to intense activities. Temperatures above 47° C were recorded, raising concerns about the device's heat dissipation.

Low resistance

A comparative test conducted by the Apple Track portal revealed an unpleasant fact. After drops from the same height, the iPhone 15 Pro proved to be less resistant than its predecessor, the 14 Pro. The phone suffered significant damage, such as the broken display, the rear glass and the loss of the camera housing.

Speaker problems

Users also noticed speaker problems superior. They reported that the sound starts to distort when the volume goes above 80%. According to them, when they increase the volume, the audio sounds as if the speaker has been damaged by water. One of the users even took the device to an Apple technical support center, where the technicians agreed that the audio does indeed distort, but refused to replace the phone, since it had no physical damage.

Easy to get dirty

iPhone 15 models also tend to accumulate more dirt, such as fingerprints and smudges, compared to previous versions. This can be a problem for more demanding users who are concerned about aesthetics and want to keep their phones looking impeccable.

Delivery delays

High demand for the iPhone 15 Pro Max has resulted in delays in production and delivery for customers who pre-ordered the product. The device was initially scheduled to be delivered starting September 22, but is only expected to reach owners in the third week of October.

Apple

After several complaints, Apple confirmed the overheating problem and revealed that it will release operating system updates to solve it. According to the company, the excessive heating was caused by a combination of bugs in iOS 17, as well as bugs in apps and a temporary failure in the initial configuration of the phones, which required more of the processor, causing it to heat up. The other system failures should also be fixed with the release of iOS updates.
