To make a call to a restricted number, simply dial #31# before the desired phone number. The result is amazing, your number will not appear in the call.
As we said before, this code works for carriers Hey, Alive and Tim, however, according to some people, it is not possible to connect for Claro numbers.
We don't know the exact reason, but we advise you to test it. Call different carrier numbers and check if it works.

There are several types that can help you with this task. If you have an Android device, you can search for an application on Google Play.

But, if you have an iPhone, you can opt for an application through the App Store, where there are free and paid applications that can solve your problem.
For those who have Windows Phone, there are also simple solutions that can help you.

Calling a restricted number through your operating system
The last and not least way is to restrict your number through your smartphone's operating system.
For Android devices
If your smartphone is Android, follow our step-by-step guide below.
- The first step is to go to your phone's settings;
- Click on the phone app on your device;
- Click on the menu button;
- Then click on call settings;
- Then go to additional settings;
- Search by caller ID;
- Then click hide number.
Done! Your number will be restricted to other people. If you want to return to normal, just click on show number.
For IOS devices
If your device is an iPhone, the process is a little different, check it out below.
- Go to settings;
- Search for Apple apps;
- Then click on phone settings;
- Click on the option, “show my number”;
- Wait for the option to load and disable it. (the button should turn gray);
Done! If you want to return to normal, just activate the “show number” option again. Very simple, isn’t it?
It is worth noting that the only problem with this procedure is that it is not possible to activate the option for one or some contacts. When it is activated, all contacts will not be able to see your number.
