Galaxy Z Fold 5
One of the most anticipated mobile devices, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5, has been seriously leaked this week. A Reddit user has shared an image of the device, revealing details about the new model’s design and features. The leaked photos show the device from different angles, highlighting the three rear-mounted cameras and the separate flash. Additionally, the front and bottom views of the fully folded devices have also been captured.
Additional images show the device with the screen on, with a rather blurry background image. The internal display is quite large, and there is a lock pattern on the right. One notable feature is the selfie camera under the display. The leaked photos also show the Fold 5's cover display, and a redesigned back. Additionally, the hinges should now allow the device to be fully closed.
The overall appearance is similar to its predecessors, but keen observers have noticed some changes to the rear camera setup, which includes a larger lens and a separate LED flash.
Another image shows the front of the device with the screen on, indicating that the photo was taken on July 10. The photo shows a small gap between the two surfaces of the screen when folded, similar to what can be seen on the Galaxy Z Flip 5 model. The leaked image has a sticker on the back of the black device that says “CONFIDENTIAL” in large letters and a disclaimer prohibiting unauthorized use. But the photos leaked despite the “do not leak” warning.

For those who are not familiar with the folding line of the brand, it is worth highlighting the specifications of the previous cell phone, as it gives a basis for what is to come.
The device that came before, Z Fold 4 is, without a doubt, one of the most advanced devices available today. It has a 7.6-inch display with a resolution of 2176×1812. The device is compatible with 5G technology and an incredible internal memory of 1000 GB, with no expansion possible. In addition, its RAM is 12 GB.
With one of the highest quality processors on the market, the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1, the device also delivers a lot in photography. The main camera is 50 MP, with a resolution of 8165×6124 pixels and 4K videos with a resolution of 3840×2160 pixels. The thickness is only 6.3 millimeters, making it one of the thinnest phones out there. The price of the Z Fold 4 varies around R$8,000, currently.

Regardless of whether the leak occurred or not, the Samsung Unpacked event, scheduled for the end of July, when the official presentation of the foldable Galaxy Z Fold 5 will take place, is close.
As per the report, there will be a switch to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip for the Galaxy, which will deliver faster and more efficient performance and faster UFS 4.0 storage. The device is also expected to feature a 50MP main camera, a 12MP ultra-wide camera, and a 10MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom.
