Check out the features of the Poco X5, a great mid-range device from Xiaomi. (Credits: Reproduction).

Pros

This device looks great with its contrasting colors giving it a modern look. The performance is great and allows games to run smoothly without getting too hot. It was easy to play games that were a bit heavy, like Asphalt 9 and Apex Legends.

Speaking of the screen, it's a 6.67-inch (16.94 cm) AMOLED device with Full HD+ resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate (faster animation transitions). This makes the device very interesting when it comes to consuming content such as videos and games. The brightness is high, so even bright days won't affect the screen. As for the battery, with normal use, it lasted about a day and a half without needing to be plugged in. Best of all, the box comes with a 67 W fast charger, which can fully charge your phone in 45 minutes.

In terms of cameras, there is great versatility with 3 lenses: the main 108MP + 8MP (ultrawide) + 2MP (macro, for close-up).

Cons

Despite the high megapixel count (108 MP on the main lens), the camera still leaves some things to be desired. It's not that the photos are bad, but there are some issues with the image stabilization. So some photos were shaky. The selfie camera's photos look better when the environment is bright, losing quality in the dark.

Additional features

There is the ability to create two different profiles to use the device. This is a security feature for sensitive apps like banking apps that should be hidden. Both profiles are biometric and password protected.

You can also allocate some of your storage space to RAM (improving performance by up to 2GB). In practice, this means that your phone will operate more efficiently.

Which profile will like the Poco X5 Pro?

THE Poco X5 Pro It’s a great mid-range phone. It’s an option to consider, especially if you don’t value performance as much as the photos your phone can take. It also appeals to people who prefer large phones. Despite its size, it’s not too heavy or thick.

The phone is also an interesting option for those looking for a modern, less formal and more fun phone. Looking only at the launch price of the device in February 2023, it would be difficult to recommend it. However, at the current price, it is a great competitor in the intermediate phones.
