The new Xiaomi should surprise with its new features. See what we know about the device.
After revamping its foldable smartphone lineup with the Mix Fold 3, Xiaomi may now be gearing up to start selling more foldable smartphones. The news was discovered after the company registered the name “Xiaomi Mix Flip” at the Chinese patent office.
Additionally, a second clue has been provided by the IMEI database, which confirms that the model 2311BPN23C will be the Chinese manufacturer's first flip phone. We still don't have the specifications of this model. The only relevant information includes the presence of native 5G connectivity and dual-band Wi-Fi.
What is known
While everything remains a mystery, Digital Chat Station has previously confirmed that the Mix Flip has an internal codename of N7 and will be one of the lightest and thinnest smartphones in the segment. Another important point is that the device will be launched later this year, as the code “2311” denotes a presentation in mid-November.
Everything indicates that the Xiaomi Mix Flip will be launched to the world alongside the Xiaomi family 14 with the 2nd generation Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 chipset. However, DCS says that the device will not be launched outside of China. In other words, for now it should not compete directly with the Galaxy Z Flip 5 in the global market.
Mix Fold 3
The Xiaomi foldable Mix Fold 3 is finally among us. During a brand event, this model was launched to the public and comes with a series of features that the public was already expecting, such as the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 platform, a screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz or higher.
Overall, this model stands out for its design, which aims to give it a more elegant appearance. In this sense, this pattern is finished with a lightweight material called ceramic fiber. In fact, the model promises to have some good material in its construction without much impact on the weight. Another important detail is that this model comes with a camera kit, with lenses produced in partnership with the Leica brand.
In addition, the image set has OIS and its other specifications include a Qualcomm chip, storage with UFS 4.0 technology and LPDR5X RAM.
It is worth noting that this model has support for 67W fast charging (50W in wireless mode) and the screen has a maximum brightness of 1,300 nits and a peak of 2,600 nits. Xiaomi claims that this model supports up to 500,000 folds and the mode allows for a 45-degree fold.
