Xiaomi Civi 4

GSMChina identifies the new Xiaomi model as 24031PN0DC in GSMA's IMEI database. The listing doesn't directly mention the phone's name, but the article says it's the Xiaomi Civi 4. Like its predecessor, the site claims the Xiaomi Civi 4 will only be sold in the Chinese market, with the "2403" number indicating the phone will arrive in the country in March 2024. Like the other phones in the Civi line, it will be aimed at women.

It is expected to feature a sleek and sophisticated design, a powerful chipset and a premium camera setup. The Xiaomi Civi 4 is rumored to feature the chip codename SM7550, which could be officially announced as the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3. In Chinese culture, the number 4 is associated with bad luck, so it is possible that Xiaomi has chosen to name the phone the Xiaomi Civi 5. More information about the device will be revealed in the coming weeks.

New clock app

Xiaomi is apparently going to make a new default clock app available in MIUI 15. Some users have discovered new features by analyzing the code of the Chinese manufacturer's new interface. According to a leaker, several code snippets reference the new smart watch and while there are no screenshots, the app is almost ready. Some of the new features you can expect from this watch include a more streamlined experience, smoother navigation, and interface stability.

It's still early days, but some Xiaomi fan developers say the watch could have more customization elements that will support multiple interface themes. The company has also made clear tweaks to make the app work more efficiently on cheaper smartphones with lower processing power.

Additionally, it is worth remembering that MIUI 15 is based on Android 14 and is in an advanced stage of development. That said, some are betting on its launch in November. Early predictions suggest that more than 100 Xiaomi, Redmi, and POCO smartphones will be updated to MIUI 15 running Android 13 or Android 14.

In other words, you must be aware of the Xiaomi news in the coming months, as the company is in full swing. There is still no confirmation from the Chinese brand about the launches mentioned here, but they are expected to be next year. All that is known is that this year the brand will deliver several surprises for the company's fans.
