Check out WhatsApp's new feature. It will improve the quality of your photos.
After making photos and videos shareable in high definition, WhatsApp is preparing to allow users to send media in original quality. The app has been launching several features lately. The new image features appeared in the Beta version of Messenger for Android phones.
According to WABetaInfo, one of the largest information providers on the app, even when sending photos in HD, the Meta app still compresses the images. Now with the beta update of WhatsApp for Android (2.23.18.12) there are signs that the original quality will arrive soon. Keep reading and learn more about the update.

How does the feature work?
Media is transferred as a document. However, users do not need to search through folders and files. Even if you want to send a photo or video in original quality, the user will need to click Send Document. There you can browse through the gallery.
When will the feature be generally released?
This feature has already been teased in the current beta, but people will have to wait a little longer to stream media in high resolution. There is no set date yet for when the feature will be widely available. Users who decide to transfer their media to HD and don't want to wait too long can now select the 1280 x 720p option when uploading their files.
WhatsApp still maintains its default transmission resolution of 848 x 480p. Using the highest quality means using more memory, it's worth remembering. In addition, the app allows you to send files up to 2 GB in size.
Other new features of the app
WhatsApp is testing a feature that allows users to use multiple accounts on the same app. With the new option, you no longer need to use cloning tools like WhatsApp GB, for example. The information was released on August 10, through Wabetainfo, and it was said that the messenger was testing the function in the beta version.
According to the website, Meta's software also sends push notifications inviting some users to check out the latest updates. Available in the WhatsApp Beta 2.23.13.5 update, the ability to add multiple accounts to a device works via QR codes.
The app will display a new icon and an 'Add account' menu. When multiple accounts are active, users can switch between them, for example having a work and personal phone number on the same phone. Chats, groups and notifications are separated, according to Wabetainfo.
Anyone who currently has a dual-SIM phone and wants to use multiple WhatsApp accounts will have to resort to a tool like Dual Messenger (Samsung) or Dual App (Xiaomi). In addition to this native “cloning” feature of the app, there are also third-party software that perform this function, such as Dual Space.
Furthermore, after presenting new features Like instant video messaging and screen sharing for video calls, WhatsApp is testing a few other features. Some of the more interesting features being tested include group voice chat, email account verification, and password-free login using passkeys.
