Results
Gol's search for improvements in services and support helped the company become the airline with the fewest complaints in Brazil in 2018.
According to one survey carried out in 2017 by the National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC), Gol was the airline that received the fewest complaints from users.
To achieve this result, the company adjusted several points that could be targets of complaints and protests from passengers.
According to Eduardo Bernardes, vice president of sales and marketing at Gol: “We work so that the customer has no reason to complain.”
Some of the measures taken by the company to reduce the number of complaints were:
- Greater concern with service: Increased employee training and contact with consumers;
- Greater concern for consumer well-being: Pilots and co-pilots were trained to provide safety and peace of mind to passengers;
- Practicality in problem-solving: Creation of SCA – Service, Customer and Airport. The team's headquarters are in São Paulo with the aim of solving passengers' problems during their trip.
