Sharp is expanding its mid-range smartphone portfolio with the launch of the AQUOS sense8, a device that stands out for its durable, military-certified construction without sacrificing comfort. The model has a compact, elegant and lightweight design, weighing just 159 grams.
With the same look as its predecessor, the new phone is equipped with a 6.1-inch OLED screen with Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2432 pixels and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. The device's display is capable of displaying more than 1 billion colors, reaching a peak brightness of 1,300 nits.

In addition to having a high-quality screen, as mentioned above, this cell phone, despite being lightweight, is quite resistant. It has the MIL-STD-810H rating, indicating that it is resistant to extreme conditions of temperature, humidity, pressure and impact. It is also certified with the IP68 protection rating.
In terms of photography, this phone offers a 50 MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), as well as an 8 MP wide-angle lens with a focal length equivalent to 15 mm. The front camera of this model is located in a drop-shaped notch on the screen, with an 8 MP sensor.
The AQUOS sense8 comes equipped with the processor Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 Qualcomm. The chip reaches up to 2.2 GHz and works with a configuration of 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage.
He has battery 5,000 mAh, but its supported charging power was not informed by the brand. This device has Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.1 with LE Audio, 5G sub-6 GHZ and a fingerprint reader on the side. It leaves the factory running the Android 13.

The model will be available through contracts with operators in Japan. Still in pre-sale, purchases will open on November 9, with four color options, namely: black, green, copper and blue. On Rakuten, it can be purchased for 63,800 yen, around R$2,165. However, the price varies according to the provider.
