Samsung has been investing heavily in new, increasingly advanced smartphone models. The devices are attracting consumers' attention due to their increasingly complete and technological features, which are putting on a show in the market.
And to expand the family, the brand launched, at an event in South Korea, this Wednesday (26), its new generation of foldable cell phones, which were highly anticipated due to the main changes, compared to the brand's current foldable models.

Launch
Samsung Unpacked, the launch event for the brand's new devices, took place in Seoul, and presented the manufacturer's two new foldable cell phone models: the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and the Galaxy Z Fold 5, which have already started to be sold in Brazil, with deliveries scheduled from August 11th.
As a novelty, Samsung has integrated artificial intelligence in all systems of the new cell phones, including the camera and keyboard. Thus, the camera has a system of AI image processing algorithms, increasing the brightness of images in dark places, improving photo quality.
Both models also have new features in relation to to safety, including a new shock dispersion layer, preventing accidental screen breakage and more protection against external impacts, with a hinge with a double rail structure.
The Galaxy Z Flip 5 has a 3.4-inch screen when folded and 6.7-inch when unfolded, with the fold horizontally, and is available in graphite, cream, pink, light green, green, yellow, blue, and gray. It has two 12 MP rear cameras and a 10 MP front camera, and a 3,700 mAh battery.
The Galaxy Z Fold 5, on the other hand, folds vertically and has a 7.6-inch screen when open and 6.2 inches when closed and has three rear cameras of 50, 12 and 10 MP, as well as two front cameras, of 4 and 10 MP, in addition to a 4,400 mAh battery.
Samsung also launched three new tablet models, from the Galaxy Tab S9 line. They feature protection against water and dust and can be submerged in fresh water for up to 30 minutes, at a depth of one and a half meters.
The brand's new generation of smartwatches was also launched, featuring a larger screen and more sports modes, ideal for amateur and professional athletes.
Prices
The Z Flip 5 arrives with prices between R$1,999 and R$1,999. The Z Fold 5 has prices between R$1,399 and R$1,599.
iPhone
Apple is expected to launch the new iPhone 15 in the coming months, but the device is already generating buzz. The new generation of iPhone is expected to be the brand's most expensive to date, with prices starting at R$1,400.00. The Pro version of the line is expected to be the best-selling.
The manufacturer has not yet confirmed the features of the devices in the new line, but the expectation is that they will be more complete than the current model, the iPhone 14. Apple's launch should go head to head with Samsung's new cell phones launched this Wednesday, as they are the South Korean manufacturer's main bets.
With a higher price than previous devices, the expectation is that the 15 Pro Max will cost around R$1,827 in the 256 GB version and the 128 GB models will cost around R$1,340.
