Meanwhile, BOE, which supplies the displays for the iPhone 15 and 15 Plus, is still waiting for the completion of the tests that Apple usually does before assembling a smartphone. According to the latest rumors, Apple is expected to use LIPO technology to make the edges of the iPhone 15 Pro thinner. Everything points to the success of Samsung's mass production, which is quite different from LG, which also supplies displays to Apple.
Launch delay
Because of this, sources have raised concerns about a possible delay in the launch of the line. iPhone 15, as LG still faces hurdles in introducing smaller bezels. Meanwhile, BOE is concerned about the difficulty of making cutouts in the display to accommodate dynamic islands. This will cause the Chinese company to lose ground among Apple's display suppliers if the setbacks are quickly resolved by other potential suppliers.
Faced with many obstacles in its supply chain, the American company decided to prioritize the production of the 6.1-inch iPhone 15 Pro, leaving the iPhone 15 Pro Max in the background. However, it should still focus on selling high-end devices, filling around 60% of the initial group with professional models.

No names have been confirmed, but four new smartphones are expected: the iPhone 15 (small), iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max (large).
