Samsung Electronics announced that it will launch the Galaxy S23 FE, the latest smartphone in the Galaxy S line, this past Tuesday (3). The new devices offer an iconic design, professional-grade cameras and solid gaming performance, all designed to enhance users' daily experiences.

Design
The Galaxy S23 FE maintains the iconic S series design with a new camera and premium finish protected by IP68 water and dust resistance. Recycled materials and packaging have also been used to combine strength, functionality, and sustainability.
The device is available in a variety of bright colors and new options, including green, cream and graphite.
Professional quality camera
Galaxy S23 FE brings everyday moments to life with pro-grade camera features that help you capture stunning photos and videos. See crisp detail in every scene with a high-resolution 50MP lens and 3x optical zoom. Even at night, Galaxy S23 FE’s Nightography lets you capture true-to-life selfies and portraits in true color.
Advanced digital image stabilization (VDIS) and wide-angle optical image stabilization (OIS) on the rear camera allow you to take stable photos on the go.
Stable gaming performance
For gaming and streaming, the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE’s powerful processor keeps everything fast and smooth. The vapor chamber also helps regulate heat to maintain consistent performance.
Battery leaves something to be desired
The Galaxy S23 FE repeats the configuration of its predecessor and is equipped with a 4,500 mAh battery with integrated support for 25-watt fast charging. Given its compact size, users wouldn't expect a larger battery, but Samsung assures that it can charge up to 50% in just 30 minutes. To get an idea of how low this power is, companies like Xiaomi and Realme put 33W of power in their entry-level devices.
If you choose a model that competes directly with the Fan Edition line, it may have up to 240W of power depending on the model (in this case, the power mentioned is from the Realme GT Neo 5, which goes from 1% to 100% in less than 10 minutes).
System and other functions
The new Samsung S23 FE It comes with Android 13 out of the box, but it's also ready to receive Android 14, which will be released soon along with One UI 6.0. A pleasant surprise here is the support time. Unlike its competitors, Samsung guarantees Galaxy S23 FE system updates up to Android 17.
Additionally, the Galaxy S23 FE supports 5G, Wi-Fi 6E, NFC, Bluetooth 5.3, has a stereo speaker system, although there is no P2 input for headphones, and a fingerprint reader is used directly on the screen.
Price and Availability
THE Galaxy S23 The FE is available globally in bold and modern colors. However, the blue color is only available online worldwide. The Samsung Galaxy S23 FE will be available in international stores starting this Thursday (5) with a suggested price of US$1,599, or approximately R$3,100 directly without taxes. The Korean giant confirmed that Brazil will receive the news soon, but more details should be revealed in the coming days.
