Xiaomi officially announced this past Wednesday (27) that the Redmi 12 5G will arrive in Brazil. Launched globally in August, this new model features many improvements over the 4G model and has a high-quality glass rear panel.
The new smartphone from the Chinese brand features a 6.79-inch screen with Full HD+ resolution and a 90 Hz refresh rate, in addition to having SGS Low Blue Light certification to reduce exposure to blue light. Powerful processor
The processor is the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 with 4 GB or 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB or 256 GB of expandable internal storage. The manufacturer claims that a virtual RAM feature is available that doubles the amount provided natively and can be used for demanding tasks. As for the camera, the Xiaomi Redmi 12 5G has two sensors on the back: a 50 MP main sensor and a 2 MP depth sensor, with features based on artificial intelligence to improve your photos. The front camera is 5 MP and is located in the upper central hole of the screen.
As for the battery, the 5G version of the Xiaomi Redmi 12 has a 5,000mAh energy tank that, according to the manufacturer, guarantees all-day autonomy and supports 18W fast charging. A USB-C port, NFC, Bluetooth 5.3 and dual-band Wi-Fi are also available. Other highlights include IP53 certification with splash and dust resistance and MIUI 14 with Android 13. It also features a side-mounted fingerprint reader, AI face unlock, inputs for two nano-SIM chips and a traditional P2 port for headphones.
