One of the best options is “Duo mode,” which splits the screen into two parts and places scrollable widgets on each side. This allows users to quickly view multiple pieces of information at once, increasing productivity and device efficiency.

The app also has a “night mode” with a soft red tint, perfect for avoiding glare when reading the time at night. One of the coolest customization features of StandBy Mode Pro is the ability to add your own photos to the “Photo Clock.” This lets you create a carousel of photos with important information like the time displayed discreetly in the corner.

Where can I download StandBy Mode for Android?

The new StandBy Mode Pro app is available for free on the Play Store, but those looking for the most complete experience can choose the paid version within the app and purchase everything for R$ 5.99.

Try Galaxy

There’s also some news for iPhone owners. If you want to know how to use a foldable smartphone but don’t plan on buying one just yet, Samsung has a solution for you.

The tool involves using two iPhones side by side. You can get a feel for how the Galaxy Z Fold 5 works by installing the app Try Galaxy in both.

Try Galaxy is a web app that showcases some of the user interfaces and features of Galaxy smartphones. The goal is to persuade iPhone owners to switch to the new ecosystem. So, this is a very simple guide. The app also demonstrates multitasking, which is something that Apple smartphones don’t have.

Try Galaxy, which started in 2022, allowed users to test the Galaxy S series smartphones, which have a bar-shaped design similar to an iPhone. This update included a demonstration of the Galaxy Z Fold, which was released in July 2023. To do this, you need to go to trygalaxy.com using two iPhones and place them side by side. The One UI on foldable devices “spreads” across both screens.

Samsung says you'll get to experience an immersive display, multitasking features, and drag-and-drop tools. There will also be a demo of FlexCam, a feature on the brand's foldable devices that lets you use the folding feature to set the perfect angle for your photos. Apple got in on the action even without a foldable device. The Galaxy launch campaign Z Flip 5, titled “Come to the Flip Side,” suggests that the foldable device could appeal to iPhone owners. It remains to be seen whether the Galaxy Try will actually have this magical power.
