Google Photos is one of the most widely used apps for storing images and videos in the world. The reason for its popularity is that you can easily sync files between different devices, such as phones, tablets, and even PCs. Not to mention the application features, such as automatically removing background images. However, many people find it difficult to know how to save and recover photos from Google Photos on other phones.

To recover photos from Google Photos to another phone, follow the steps below.

Step One: Open the Google Photos app on your smartphone.   

Step Two: From there, log in to the Google account used for Google Photos on the other phone where your images and videos are stored.    

Step 3: After logging in, wait for the program to sync with the cloud to recover your files. The more photos and videos you have stored in your account, the longer the process will take.    

Step Four: Once the sync is complete, you can use your images and videos and import new files from the same account.    

Now that you know how to recover images from Google Photos on another smartphone, you don't have to worry about losing files every time you switch devices.  

But if you don’t already take backups, then you should also learn how to enable automatic backups in Google Photos as the above process cannot be completed successfully if they are not enabled. To do so, follow the steps below.    

Step One: Open the Google Photos app on your smartphone.    

Step Two: After logging in, click on your profile icon in the top right corner of the screen.   

 Third step: If disabled, tap on the “Enable backup” option.    

Step Four: The Synchronization Process files with the cloud will begin. An Internet connection is required to complete this task.    

Step 5: Wait until everything is synced and completed. You can start transferring files from this device to another using this tool.
