According to data analyzed by iG on its data.ai platform, TikTok was the most downloaded app in Brazil last week. This information was recorded between August 11 and 17 and considers downloads from the Google Play Store for Android devices and the App Store for iOS devices.   

In addition to the Chinese platform, two other social networks, Instagram and Facebook, appeared among the 10 most downloaded apps this week. Meta's Twitter competitor, Threads, did not make it into the top 10, ranking 11th. Only one game appeared among the 10 most downloaded apps this week. Ranked 9th, Ultimate Draft Soccer is a multiplayer soccer game. In addition to social networks and games, online stores such as Shein and Shopee also appeared among the 10 most downloaded apps. 10 most downloaded apps in the country this week 

1 – TikTok    

TikTok, known as Douyin in China and formerly Musical.ly, is a multimedia application for creating and sharing short videos. The media application was launched in September 2016.

Shein is a Chinese e-commerce platform that already operates in more than 150 countries. Its main focus is on clothing, but the platform's catalog also sells home and pet accessories. Shein It is very famous in Brazil, with many daily sales.  

4 – Instagram    

Instagram is an online social network for sharing photos and videos between users that can be shared on various social networking services such as Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr and Flickr through the application of digital filters.

gov.br is a digital platform in Brazil launched on July 31, 2019. It allows the country's citizens to access various government services and centralize their data.

WhatsApp is an instant messaging and voice calling app for smartphones. Well-known among Brazilians, it is one of the most widely used. In addition to sending text messages, users can send images, videos and PDF documents and make free phone calls via an Internet connection.    

9 – Ultimate Draft Soccer 

Ultimate Draft Soccer is a new soccer game from First Touch Games. The game is famous for featuring all the best players and teams in a realistic 3D environment.
