More news on the messenger

It is now possible to edit messages already sent in the app. With this, if the user sends an incorrect word or information, it is no longer necessary to delete the message to resend it. The user can edit the message and correct the incorrect word. To do this, simply hold down the message, click on the three dots and choose the “Edit” option. After that, just send the message again. But be careful, the app leaves a message informing that the text has been edited. The new feature is already available to most users. If it is not available to you yet, try updating your app version and try again.

A feature that has been tested on WhatsApp is showing the message history in groups to new members added by admins. The update is available for beta testers on Android. According to WABetaInfo, the new feature improves the chat experience in groups.

The new update aims to help new members see messages sent in the group before they join the chat. In order for the option to work, it needs to be enabled by a group administrator. As it is still in the development phase, there is no information about the launch of the feature and when it should reach the app's users.
