Design and screen

The structure of the smartphone is basically made of plastic and glass, the front is glass, the back and frame are plastic. The smartphone Poco F5 It doesn't have protection against water and dust, but on the other hand it keeps the 3.5mm connector, which is good for those who like entertainment. In addition to the fingerprint on the side, next to the stop button, which is Xiaomi's best choice. This is because in addition to making the screen cheaper without the need to worry about ultrasonic sensors, it is also placed in an easily accessible area where fingers are usually already placed.

The Poco F5's display is a large, flat, and beautiful 6.67-inch OLED panel. The device has FULL HD resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision technology, HDR10+, and reaches 1000 nits at maximum brightness. It has 12-bit color depth, highlighting colorful landscapes and objects. For watching YouTube and Netflix videos, this is a decent size, but it's not one of the best displays out there.

Camera game

The rear cameras feature a trio of cameras, with a 64MP stabilized main sensor, an ultra-wide lens with an 8MP sensor, and finally a macro lens with a 2MP sensor. The selfie camera has a resolution of 16MP. The phone is capable of recording 4K video at 30fps on the main camera, but the selfie lens only records FullHD video at 60fps.

Processor and performance

On the hardware side, we have Qualcomm's brand new Snapdragon 7 Gen 2 processor, with a powerful 2.91 GHz core. It has 8 GB of RAM and a 256 GB internal storage version. This processor and memory package performed excellently in all tests.

In the AnTuTu benchmark, one of the most comprehensive tests, the Poco scored 802,459 thousand points, compared to 673 thousand points for the Poco F4. It is better than many top-of-the-line smartphones that have already been tested in the program. In games, we have the new champion, the Poco F5 also beat other phones that were analyzed, even premium models. That's right, it even beats S23 Ultra, Edge 30 Ultra and Rog Phone 6. Poco has proven that it has partnerships with game developers, so much so that only its phones achieved 90FPS performance in Free Fire.

Battery

Now let's talk a little about the battery, with a capacity of 5000mAh, the POCO F5 promises to offer great autonomy. In the battery test by the Oficina da Net website, in which the smartphone was placed in seven different situations over a period of 7h45m, the cell phone passed. The idea is to simulate intensive daily use, if at the end of the test there is battery then this is considered a good result.

The Poco F5 ran out of time and still had 18% of battery left. The results earned it 12th place in the website's battery rankings. In other words, if you use your phone intensively you will certainly still have plenty of battery left at the end of the day, which means you will have more than a day of battery life. Its charging time was also surprising, taking 50 minutes to charge from 0 to 100%, thanks to the 67W charger provided in the box.
