The whole world is only talking about one thing these days: Barbie; the doll that was part of many girls' childhoods in the past, and still is today! The film, released on the 20th, was a box office champion in its pre-release and grossed a total of R$23 million in Brazil alone, becoming Warner's biggest pre-release, surpassing the premiere of Avatar 2, in less than 24 hours of release.
With this film boom, a pink wave spread throughout Brazil, with the sale of clothes, shoes and accessories for fans who wanted to watch the film dressed in character, resembling the doll's clothes, which have been around since 1959.
And of course, the success of the film, which shows the doll's “real life”, generated many comments, memes and discoveries, as fans waste no time. With that, they discovered that it is possible to put WhatsApp, the most used app in Brazil, in a “Barbie Mode”, transforming the appearance and style of the application.

How to activate
To activate Barbie Mode on Whatsapp and make it completely pink is very simple and easy:
1- Change the color of your keyboard
To change the color of your keyboard, simply open a conversation and look for the keyboard settings when it is open. Then, simply find the customization tab and apply the color pink to the background.
2- Change your wallpaper
The second step is to change the background of your conversations. Download a photo of Barbie or her world in mobile format, with dimensions of 1080×1920 pixels.
Next, change the wallpaper of your conversations. To do this, simply open a conversation in the app, tap the three dots in the upper right corner and click on the “Wallpaper” tab.
Then, just select the image you downloaded, apply it as your wallpaper and that's it.
3- Change the application icon
You can also change the app icon by downloading the Nova Launcher app, which allows you to customize your home screen and is available at Google Play Store.
To use it, just follow these steps:
– Access the Play Store and install Nova Launcher;
– When installing, open the app and follow the instructions to set it as your default home screen launcher. This can be done through your phone’s settings, in the default application tab;
– After setting Nova Launcher as default, go to your phone's home screen, press and hold the WhatsApp icon on the home screen or in your apps menu;
– From there, a menu of options will appear on the screen. You should look for the “Edit” option and select it;
– The application will provide several icon options for WhatsApp. You must choose a Barbie icon through Google and in PNG format. Just apply your chosen one and that's it.
It is worth remembering that this change to Barbie Mode is only possible on phones with Android 9.0 or higher. Therefore, unfortunately, it cannot be done. on iPhone.
