Regarding the price, it is worth remembering that the iPhone 15 Pro Max is one of Apple's most expensive products to date. Here in Brazil, it can be found for R$10,999 in the 256 GB version; R$12,499 in the 512 GB version; and R$13,999 in the 1 TB version.
The iPhone 14 Pro Max was introduced in September last year with prices starting at R$10,499. Currently, the device in the 256 GB version can be found on Amazon for around R$8,728, a difference of R$3,500.
Screen and design
Apple has kept the same screen size on both phones, 6.7 inches, with Dynamic Island. The big difference in terms of design is the construction of the devices. This year, the brand has adopted a titanium frame, giving the phone a more premium finish. The iPhone 14 Pro Max has a body made of stainless steel.
The 14 Pro Max comes in space black, silver, gold, and deep purple, while the 15 Pro Max comes in titanium black, titanium white, titanium blue, and titanium natural.
Camera
Another similarity between the phones is the triple camera setup, consisting of a 48 MP main camera and the other components with an ultrawide lens and a 12 MP telephoto lens. However, they are not the same.
The 2023 release has the ability to zoom in up to 5 times, while the 14 Pro Max lets you zoom in up to 3 times with the objective lens camera. On the front, both phones have a 12 MP camera.
Performance and storage
THE new iPhone stands out for its processor, the Apple A17 Pro. According to the manufacturer, the GPU is up to 70% faster than the graphics chip in the iPhone 12 Pro. The 14 Pro Max comes equipped with the A16 Bionic, the same one used in the conventional iPhone 15.
In practice, both models tend to deliver excellent performance even in heavier tasks. However, the latest one is expected to have better performance for graphics processing.
This year, the company decided to restrict the storage options of its new phone. The iPhone 15 Pro Max can be found in 256 GB, 512 GB or 1 TB versions. The 14 Pro Max is available in 128 GB, 256 GB, 512 GB and 1 TB versions.
Battery
Battery capacity is not a disclosed specification by Apple. However, the manufacturer emphasizes that both cell phones offer autonomy for up to 29 hours of video playback, up to 25 hours of streaming or up to 95 hours of audio playback.
