WhatsApp is currently one of the most used instant messaging apps, with over 2 billion users worldwide. Unfortunately, due to its popularity, most app developers try to capitalize on this hype. They do this by creating clone versions of the app, the most popular being WhatsApp GB.

Risks and consequences of using WhatsApp GB
The company has warned users about using unsupported apps like Whatsapp Plus and WhatsApp GB, which claim to be able to transfer WhatsApp chats from one phone to another.
As they said, these unofficial apps are developed by third parties and violate their terms of use as their security practices cannot be validated.
Temporary account blocking
WhatsApp said it would take action in the form of temporarily blocking the accounts of users using the WhatsApp GB. Then WhatsApp will block you permanently if the user's account is not switched to the official app.
WhatsApp has deemed WhatsApp GB to be in violation of its terms of service and has stated that it will block user accounts if it is detected using this app.
So, they announced that they will temporarily suspend these accounts so that users do not use the official app, otherwise, the accounts will be permanently terminated.
It provides information to users who want to switch to the official app. However, they cannot guarantee that the support will be successful because WhatsApp does not support unofficial apps.
Your safety is not guaranteed
