Apple confirmed at the end of September that the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max models may temporarily change color when they reach the user's hands. The explanation for the cell phone's color change has to do with titanium, the material that makes up the edges of the Pro Line models.

iPhone 15 Pro changing color
Shortly after the launch, users who purchased the Pro line of phones noticed that the edges of their titanium-finished smartphones were easily smudged and showed fingerprints. In addition, they sometimes appeared to be oxidizing. According to Apple, this is because the oils naturally present in the skin can temporarily discolor the edges of the device.
However, solving the problem is a simple task. To “restore the original appearance of your model”, as the manufacturer suggests, simply clean the area with a soft, slightly damp, lint-free cloth. In addition, another more practical option to protect your phone from the wear and tear of having to constantly clean it is to protect your device with a case that prevents fingerprints and changes in the model's color.
Overheating of models
It is worth noting that, in addition to the color change of the Pro line devices since the official announcement of the models, another issue that has attracted attention is the overheating of the devices' batteries, which has also been confirmed by Apple. The problem appears to have been resolved in the iOS 17 update released by the manufacturer in early October.
iPhone 15 differences
The high-resolution Photo Kit camera is one of the biggest changes to the iPhone 15. In 2023, Apple switched to a 48-megapixel sensor for the main camera, which helps capture images with higher resolution and more detail. But that's not the only benefit of the upgrade. Thanks to QuadPixel technology, which combines four pixels into one, the phone can take photos with 2x zoom.
In this case, the image resolution drops from 48MP to 12MP. In addition, the digital zoom has been increased to 10x. For comparison, the main camera of the iPhone 14 has 12 MP and has a digital zoom of up to 5x. The second camera with an ultra-wide-angle lens maintains the same resolution as the iPhone 15: 12MP.
Original USB-C
Apple ditched the Lightning connector in 2023. Instead, the iPhone 15 It comes with USB-C, which is already the universal standard.
