The new feature, which will make users' lives easier, is now available for use!
The use of WhatsApp has become increasingly common in our daily lives, both for personal and professional matters. The application, which facilitates the exchange of information, photos, videos and even documents, quickly and conveniently, can be used all over the world. And with the increase in the use of the app for different purposes, the platform has made several changes to make it even easier to use and to make the application increasingly functional and complete. The changes have pleased users, who are able to resolve pending issues and communicate more conveniently.
With this, a new feature is being tested by WhatsApp and promises to improve the experience of those who use the app. Learn more about this new feature below!
New feature
THE WhatsApp beta is working on testing new conversation filters in the beta version. The new feature is already present in version 2.23.14.17 of the app, and was released on the Play Store this Friday (07). With this feature, the user will be able to filter their conversations into three options: unread conversations, personal conversations and business conversations. The new filters are positioned at the top of the application.
According to the company, group chats play a crucial role in communication for app users, and having a convenient way to filter them would greatly improve the overall user experience.
While the new filters target specific categories of messages, there is still no option to filter just groups.
For now, WhatsApp is not yet releasing the feature widely in the beta channel, but the expectation is that this will happen soon.
Other changes to WhatsApp
Recently the application announced a feature that allows users to share their text and audio history via a QR code to a new device, allowing them to access their conversations more quickly and easily.
This feature does not allow the transfer of payment messages and call history from the app. If this type of transfer is necessary, the user must use other apps or do the process manually.
The app is also testing a feature that allows users to send high-resolution videos. With this feature, users will be able to choose the resolution they want the video to have before sending it to someone else. The screen will show the standard quality option, which takes up less space and sends faster, or the HD option, which takes up more space, sends slower and consumes more data. This option was highly anticipated by users.
THE application is also carrying out tests so that photos can also be sent in high quality, and the expectation is that the function will soon arrive for beta version users.
An even more recent version of WhatsApp is also in the testing phase, and should bring changes to the application's interface, making the alert boxes more rounded and with smaller fonts and buttons.
