Instagram messages will feature artificial intelligence tools for creating stickers. Similar to the feature available on WhatsApp, this new feature allows you to create different stickers based on text descriptions.
The discovery was made by a tipster on Twitter who shared a screenshot of the feature in an Instagram DM. Read on to learn more about what’s changing.
Stickers on Instagram
This new tool shows the user how to create stickers, or so-called figurines, according to the functionalities described in the text.
As seen in the leaked image, Meta’s new AI creates 6 stickers at a time, but users can request more versions if there are no attractive alternatives available. In other words, you can create a variety of illustrations using the illustration-making feature. Like other AI-powered image generators, Meta’s tool requires understanding of different concepts and topics to create interesting stickers that can diversify your chats with friends.
There is no information yet about which model will include the sticker creator, but it is probably the same one that supports WhatsApp Beta. Recently, Brazil's favorite messaging app also launched a sticker creator with AI technology. The feature still has no release date, for now. There is no information about the availability of the tool. There are currently no predictions about the official launch of the new feature on Instagram.
Before and after sticker
To continue innovating for its users, Instagram has also introduced a new feature. The Before and After stickers allow people to display two images at different times. The idea is to provide a direct visual comparison without much effort.
The platform has quietly launched this feature, without many announcements. The idea is that users can share memories, project progress and other important moments in their lives that they want to post on social media.
To use the new stickers, users must access the App Stories. “Before and After” stickers are available in the Stickers options, which appear after selecting or taking a photo.
When selected, two boxes will appear on the screen representing the moments being compared. In addition to the basic features, Instagram also offers the ability to customize the caption box. Instead of ‘Before and After,’ users can select captions like ‘expectation vs. reality’ or ‘2013×2023.’ Simply select an image, adjust the caption, finish editing, and publish your story.
This new feature is expected to encourage more user interaction and creativity on the platform. In addition to this new feature, it is worth noting that Instagram has tested and introduced several other features over the years, as it continually works to improve the user experience and keep up with the development of new social networks.
How to use Before and After
Step 1: When taking a photo on Instagram, look for an option with a story tool. If your device has been updated, the first line will show the before and after tool.
Step 2. Once you’ve chosen your before and after captions, you need to move on and choose which images you want to post. Now is the time to get creative and make direct comparisons to the photos.
