Meet Meta's new AI. Here's how to use it.
Have you heard of LuzIA, the artificial intelligence integrated into WhatsApp and Telegram? This feature has just arrived in Brazil and already has over 1 million registered users. This is no surprise, as Brazilians love new things.
LuzIA is a girl with red hair, big blue eyes and a friendly face who promises to be your virtual friend and is ready to provide its users with secure resources (with encrypted communication) and artificial intelligence for free. If you want to see how this AI works, keep reading.
How to use LuzIA on WhatsApp?
THE new artificial intelligence will support Chatbots on WhatsApp and Telegram and make it easier for these apps to access machine learning tools. LuzIA can copy voice messages, translate texts, create images, and help plan tasks, among other things. For example, you received a voice message and now you can't hear it. You pass it to LuzIA, and LuzIA writes it down in seconds (as long as the message is no longer than 10 minutes).
Additionally, LuzIA can translate your favorite song lyrics or simple WhatsApp texts into Portuguese or any other language (including over 80 languages). No drawing skills? LuzIA has it. Say Imagine, talk about a drawing you want to see, and wait for the image to be completed. However, you still need to adjust the function and it doesn’t always get the image you requested or it takes longer than you were told during the search. There are activities you can ask the tool for help with, such as suggesting recipes, choosing foods, making lists, summarizing, and more.
Learn how to use LuzIA
The first step is to save your WhatsApp number. To start a conversation with LuzIA, save 11 97255-3036 in your phonebook and send a message with what you want. You can also access it using the link on the official website (https://soyluzia.com/), just access WhatsApp and click on the Start Chat button.
By sending the platform’s predefined message to your WhatsApp number, you can access the AI assistant’s intro. To create an image, type “Imagine” and describe the image you would like to see. Example: “Imagine a dog”. You can also send requests such as “translate text” so that LuzIA can translate passages written in other languages.
Audio can be transmitted to LuzIA for recording. Simply give the command “record audio” which is a very useful feature for deaf people to read the audio they receive. Other commands include “Plan your diet” and “To-do list help” for tips on organization and planning.
Tool Creator
LuzIA was developed by Alvaro Higes, 36, an engineer and professor at IE Business School. The Spaniard explained that the goal of creating this tool is to bridge the gap between those who are used to using AI and the general public who are not yet very familiar with the tool. He said that the goal is to make it easily accessible to the majority using LuzIA on WhatsApp or Telegram. The initiative was supported by investors from Silicon Valley and has already reached 4 million users in approximately 40 countries. In addition to Portuguese, LuzIA is also available for native speakers of English, French and, of course, Spanish.
