The Federal Revenue Service of Presidente Prudente (SP) is holding an electronic auction of seized or abandoned items, including vehicles and thousands of cell phones. The start date for submitting bids was September 18 and the deadline is October 2. A public meeting is scheduled for 9 am on October 3.   

There are 500 lots in total with minimum prices between R$500 and R$100,000. More than 450 properties have cell phones. The cheapest lot overall has a minimum bid of R$500 and includes two Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 cell phones and four Blu Bold Like Us Z4 Music cell phones. The most expensive lots in this auction, with a starting price of R$100,000, include dozens of smartwatches from different brands (and hundreds with no recognizable brand), as well as several different cell phone batteries.

Lots with cell phone  

The Revenue has several batches of iPhone models, Xiaomi and Samsung. One of the lots includes 6 units of the iPhone 14 Pro Max with a starting price of R$ 8 thousand. The other has 6 Xiaomi Redmi 9Ts with a starting price of R1,000. Another has six Samsung Galaxy A22 devices with a starting price of R2,000.  

Some other lots Some also have a mix of different brands of cell phones. Others also have cars and trucks. For example, one of them contains a Ford Fiesta Sedan 1.6, Flex, 2007, with a starting price of R$ 16 thousand. Some vehicles are just the chassis, so it is necessary to observe the condition of the vehicle. Another thing to note is that some vehicles will inevitably be sent for scrap, regardless of whether the parts are reused or not.   

Other lots include Chromecast (Google) and Echo Dot (Amazon), headphones, speakers, camera lenses, motherboards, WiFi routers, USB adapters, cell phone parts, wine, thermal mugs, perfume, fishing supplies, vehicles and more.

A given lot, called “waste,” consists of goods that are discarded. Individuals may only bid on lots 16 to 27 for cars and trucks and lots 33 to 500 for cell phones. Companies may bid in increments of 500 lots. It is important to note that items purchased by individuals cannot be sold. Copies purchased by companies may be used for commercial purposes, with the exception of lots 33-500 of cell phones. In this case, even if they are in good condition, the devices cannot be sold.   

Inspection and evaluation of goods is possible during business days, from September 18 to 29, at the RFB regional warehouse in Bauru (SP). Right way to participate    

To submit a proposal, both individuals and legal entities must have a gov.br digital identity document with a silver or gold credibility level. It is necessary to access the Federal Revenue website, access the Virtual Taxpayer Service Center (e-CAC portal) and access the “Electronic Auction System” service through the “Participate in the Federal Revenue Electronic Auction” option.  

Interested parties should select the auction notification number 0810500/000001/2023 and click on the “Include Offer” option. The bidder must also declare that he/she is aware of and agrees with the terms of the bid, that he/she meets the necessary requirements and that there are no facts that prevent him/her from participating in the auction. Candidates may submit one bid per lot, always respecting the established minimums, but may make changes or exclusions until the end of the bid acceptance period.
