Understand the reasons for the possible increase in the price of the iPhone. The price may scare off the brand's customers.
The new iPhone 15 could offer up to 2TB of storage. This is great news, since memory is one of the most important parts of a smartphone. However, with this new feature, the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max could be even more expensive in Brazil.
According to experts' calculations, the most expensive version, the 2TB iPhone Pro Max, could cost more than R$19,000. The iPhone 15 Pro is rumored to start at R$1,099 (about R$5,370 in direct conversion) in the US, according to the BGR website. Meanwhile, the iPhone 15 Pro Max could sell for as little as R$1,299 (R$6,350). Read on to find out what prices are expected to be charged.

Additionally, according to Giz Brasil, the increase over the 14 line is around US$100 to US$200. Currently, the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max range from US$1,999 to US$1,599 in the US and have storage capacities from 128GB to 1TB.
By the way, upgrading storage from 128GB to 256GB costs around US$100. For 512GB and 1TB devices, the upgrade costs US$100. However, in this iPhone launch 15, it's worth noting that the 128GB variant will no longer exist. So, considering the price of the iPad Pro, it's known that Apple charges $$400 to upgrade a device from 512GB to 1TB or from 1TB to 2TB of storage.
But all of this is still speculation, as this could be the first time Apple launches a smartphone with more than 1TB of storage, so there's no way of knowing what pricing policy the company will adopt. Still, if Apple sticks to the same logic of increasing the iPad from 1TB to 2TB for the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max, the values are, respectively:

512 GB: US$ 1,299 and US$ 1,499
1TB: US$ 1,499 and US$ 1,699

Mathematically, if a 2TB device can cost up to R$400 more than the 1TB version, that represents an increase of R$23.5% in the price of the Pro Max model. For comparison, a 1TB iPhone 14 Pro Max, for example, arrived in Brazil for R$15,500. So, using those R$23.5%, a 2TB iPhone 15 Pro Max, the phone would cost more than R$19,000.
The iPhone 15 Pro Max is rumored to cost $1,200 more than the iPhone 14 Pro Max. If true, the 2TB model should surpass the $20,000 mark. For now, all these figures are just guesses. The official price, however, will be announced next month when Apple introduces its new line of phones. The iPhone 15 not yet arrived, but older models will be cheaper, so you can opt for those.
