After announcing the Huawei Mate 60 Pro Plus, Chinese manufacturer Huawei has also unveiled another foldable smartphone, the Huawei Mate X5. This model is the successor to the Mate X3, which was launched about 6 months ago and features several upgrades to its system.
The new phone has a 7.85-inch main screen and an external screen with Kunlun Glass protection. It is available in Feather White, Feather Black, Fether Gold and Green Mountain colors. The model also has a 50 MP main camera and a 5,060 mAh battery.

Huawei Mate 5X
Screen
This phone features a 7.85-inch LTPO OLED main display (2,224 x 2,496 pixels) and an LTPO LED external display (1,080 x 2,504 pixels) with Kunlun Glass protection. These features are the same as the previous model.
Cameras
The cameras remain with the same characteristics as the Mate X3. The main camera has a 50 MP sensor and is accompanied by a 13 MP ultrawide and a 12 MP periscope with 5x optical zoom.
It has two front cameras and both have a resolution of 8 MP. One is on the external screen and the other on the internal panel, in the upper right corner.
Processor and memory
The processor The exact model of this model has not been specified by Huawei, but rumors indicate that it is the Kirin 900, the same as the Mate 60 line. It has 16 GB of RAM, a significant increase, since the X3 had 12 GB of RAM. This cell phone has options of up to 1 TB of internal storage.
Battery
The battery of this cell phone has 5,060 mAh with support for fast charging 66 W of power.
System
It comes equipped with the HarmonyOS 4 operating system and features new hand gesture controls, allowing users to browse videos, websites and images without having to touch the main screen.

This model has IPX8 protection, which is water resistant, has dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.2.

The Huawei X5 model has already been announced in the Chinese market and is available for pre-sale on the VMall platform. The official price of the new model has not yet been announced by the brand.
Mate 60 Pro
THE Mate Pro 60 was also introduced in August and is the company's most premium model. It comes with the brand's own Kirin 900 processor, has 16 GB of RAM and up to 1 TB of storage. It has a 6.82-inch screen with Kunlun Glass 2 protection. It has a 48 MP main camera and a 13 MP front camera. It has a 5,000 mAh battery with 88W charging, recharging 100% in 30 minutes.
This phone will go on sale in China on October 9, but prices have not yet been announced.
