Find out all about the tests that were carried out on Huawei's new cell phone. It showed great results!

A few weeks ago, Chinese manufacturer Huawei announced its new smartphone, the Huawei Mate 60 Pro. It recently underwent a very intense durability test on the PBKReviews YouTube channel. The content showed the resistance of the second-generation Kunlun glass, which survived when it was hit by a car.

The channel's evaluation began with more traditional tests, in which the cell phone was dropped on a concrete floor from different heights. Overall, the model's screen performed very well, as it did not break even after being dropped several times on a very hard surface.

The cell phone did not come out completely intact, as it showed some marks on the edges, in addition to a crack in the camera module, which are minimal consequences, taking into account the level of rigidity of the tests to which it was subjected.

Resistance

Even after being dropped from the front and side, the phone continued to function normally. Therefore, it is possible to say that the 2nd generation Kunlun glass is capable of delivering a resistance similar to that seen in competitors Gorilla Glass, and perhaps even better in some cases.

It was in the toughest test that the Mate 60 Pro surprised. Subjected to the weight of a car, which ran over it, the launch of the Huawei manufacturer presented more positive results, since the accident was not able to interfere with the functioning of the cell phone.

The model was also exposed to sand to assess its ability to resist scratches. According to the video, the display remained virtually data-free after a simple cleaning.

The new cell phone was announced in August and brought the processor Kirin 9000s as one of its main attractions. The processor promises to compete with some of Qualcomm's most powerful chips, in addition to offering support for 5G connectivity.

In addition to the new chip, the cell phone's technical list also includes 12 GB of RAM and 1 TB of internal storage; 6.82-inch OLED screen and 120 Hz refresh rate; 50 MP main camera with optical image stabilization, 48 MP periscopic telephoto with 3.5x optical zoom and 12 MP ultrawide, as well as a 13 MP front camera; 5,000 mAh battery with support for 88 W wired power, 50 W wireless and 20 W reverse charging and Android 13 operating system with HarmonyOS 4.0 interface.
