The device will have sensors that will indicate the user's health data. Find out how it will work.
Electronic device brands are increasingly investing in new technologies to offer the best to their customers. With each passing day, we are seeing more technologically advanced cell phones, with faster processors, longer-lasting batteries, better cameras and new tools, which guarantee a better experience and also more privacy for the consumer. One of these main manufacturers is Samsung, which has launched models that are attracting attention due to their various utilities and tools. The manufacturer is also investing in foldable cell phones, which have some very different features and can be found for around R$$4,000.
In addition to the various models that the brand will launch this year, the manufacturer is now investing in a new foldable device that can tell you about the user's health. Find out all the details about this new cell phone now and discover how it will work!
Cell phone with health sensor
Korean brand Samsung is working on a new device that could soon reach users: a foldable cell phone with health sensors that will evaluate the user's fingerprints and provide a quick diagnosis on blood pressure, arterial resistance, vascular age and more.
The manufacturer patented this week the cell phone's features and the health sensor that will be placed horizontally, where the finger will be placed, will help to find the angle of the body part that will be analyzed. Thus, based on the angle, the sensor will start to measure the person's data.
In addition to the angle, the CMOS (complementary metal oxide semiconductor) will illuminate when activated and will also help measure the user's health data. It will be located horizontally on the cell phone. This information is also included in the brand's patent document. Together with the sensor that will check the angle and support the CMOS, the cell phone will be able to display cardiac information.
The patent document, however, does not state which device will contain this new technology. Therefore, it is not possible to confirm which model will be launched with the sensors.
The use of the data that will be provided by new cell phone, in real time, can help to close a more accurate diagnosis, which can also make telehealth services even more viable.
It is important to remember that this type of technology needs to undergo several studies and tests to ensure that the data presented is more accurate, in addition to the large investment by the brand to deliver excellent results. Therefore, the cell phone that does not yet have a release date and more confirmed information, should have a higher price and may take some time to reach users.
