Have you ever needed to watch a movie or TV series, but didn't know which streaming platform to watch it on? Instead of wasting time searching through each menu, JustWatch, a tool available on Android, iOS and also on the web, can help you with that.
JustWatch is an online service that works as a universal search engine for movies and series available on streaming sites such as Netflix, Google Play and iTunes. The idea is that, with access to several libraries, the user can quickly find what they want to watch and be redirected to the content with a single click. The service is free and will soon also be adding TV shows from cable channels. The service recently launched an app compatible with the two main mobile operating systems iOS and Android. App that “finds movies”
For those who still don't understand how JustWatch works, this app is like a Google for all the titles available on more than 40 streaming services, like Netflix, Amazon Prime, HBO Go, Looke, Google Play, Telecine, Paramount+ and AppleTV.
That said, Justwatch makes it easy to find a movie to watch, so you don’t have to search through each streamer one at a time. Here’s how to use it.
How to find available streams with JustWatch
Step 1. Download the JustWatch app and create an account. You can also access it using your Google account or Facebook.
Step 2: Enter the name of the program, movie or series, when opening the main page and you will find it.
Step 3: Click on the movie and it will show you where you can watch it. You can also sort by price and picture quality by clicking on the bar above the stream.
Step 4: Scroll through the title screen to see the synopsis, movie cover, trailer, credits, and user reviews from JustWatch and IMDb.
Step 5: You can also select only specific streaming services on the home page. Swipe to the side and click on the one you want.
Step 6: Below the platform name, you will find the option to tap on TV Shows or Movies to browse.
Step 7. Click on the icon that appears next to “TV Shows” to use other filters.
Step 8: A menu will appear where you can select by year (1900-present), IMDB rating, rental price, genre, quality, and age rating. For example, clicking on Science Fiction will only show titles related to that genre. Double-click to exclude the genre.
Step 9. If desired, any streaming service can be set to display only available titles. To do this, click on your profile icon in the top right corner.
Step 10: To do this, tap on “Providers”.
Step 11: Select the services you can access and click Finish.
Step 12: From now on, only movies from the platform you selected will be displayed.
That's it, once you've prepared all the settings, it will be much easier to watch your movies. Now you can quickly find all the programs you want to watch.
