There are several apps that allow users to register their cards so that their cell phones can make contactless payments. Cielo recently announced that it is expanding the offering of Cielo Tap, which transforms the cell phone into a payment device, available for Android phones.

To find out if the Android cell phone allows this type of payment, you need to access Settings, click on Connections and check. If your cell phone has the technology, simply activate the “NFC and contactless payments” tab.
After that, you need to register your credit or debit card in one of the payment apps that work with NFC. Apple provides Apple Pay and Google offers Google Play for Android users. Samsung phone users can also opt for Samsung Pay.
