Thanks to an initiative carried out by Brazilian telephone companies, consumers can now check, from the comfort of their own home, how many chips or prepaid cell phone lines are registered with the CPF provided.

This way, it became easier to discover irregularities and fraud in your CPF.

  • Access: Pre-Registration Portal;
  • Enter the CPF of the line holder and inform the desired state;
  • Then check the option “I'm not a robot”
  • Also check the option: “I accept the terms and conditions” and go to “Consult”.

Done! Now just check the chips registered to your CPF

It is important to note that the query on the Portal only shows prepaid lines. Postpaid lines or fixed lines will not appear on the list.

It is also worth noting that the portal does not provide the numbers of cell phone registered in your CPF and does not even inform whether a given company has more than one registration in the name of the same person.

According to the Anatel, this measure was created to preserve the confidentiality and privacy of the consumer's personal information.

All about the Pre-Registration Portal

The Portal was created jointly by telephone companies Of course, Hey, Tim, Alive, Algar and Sercomtel, and approved by the National Telecommunications Agency (Anatel).

The advantage of this platform is that consumers will be able to see which lines are active on their CPF and, if they discover any irregularities, request cancellation.

Categories

When accessing the Portal, you will find some categories: About, Consultation, Frequently Asked Questions and Contact Providers.

The About category tells you about the Portal, how it was created and by which companies. In the Consultation category, you can perform the procedure as explained in the previous topic quickly and easily.

In the Frequently Asked Questions tab, you will find answers to the main questions asked by consumers. Some of the questions include:

  • What is the prepaid terminal consultation service?;
  • Which are the participating providers?
  • How do I check if I have an active prepaid line with a Provider?
  • Will this query also include the results of active post-paid lines with Providers?
  • If you do not have active prepaid lines, will any results appear?
  • How do I contact my Provider?;
  • I ported my phone number, but the search results still show that I have a prepaid line with the previous provider. What should I do?
  • After checking my CPF on this website, I canceled my Prepaid with the Provider, but the search result still shows that I have an active prepaid line with the Provider. What should I do?

How do I cancel?

To cancel a line, contact the desired Service Provider, through the call center or online and request the cancellation of the line.

You must provide some information to confirm your CPF ownership. This step is safe and prevents fraud.

After the cancellation request, the service provider must do so within 24 hours if done through an attendant.

However, if you made the request through a call center or on the provider's portal, the cancellation must be made within 48 hours.
