Mirroring your phone to your PC is a simple task and can be useful for things like streamlining your work on a mobile device or running a slideshow on a larger monitor.   

For those who don't know, there are two ways to do this. There are free and paid options. There are third-party applications with this functionality or native Windows tools, the latter with some limitations. Keep reading and find out how to mirror your screen.

How to Mirror Your Phone Screen to PC Using Third-Party Apps 

To mirror your Android screen to your PC, see the list of apps and methods below.   

Screen Mirroring Screen Mirror  

This is a popular Android app that lets you easily view and control your device's actions on your computer screen.   

First step: Download the Screen Mirror app (Android);   

Step 2: Open the app and tap “Try the limited version”.   

Step 3: Go to the Screen Mirror app website (screenmirrorapp.com) on your computer and generate a QR code.   

Step Four: Tap Browser Mirroring on your mobile device.   

Step 5: Select “Mirroring” and have your phone’s camera scan the code displayed on your computer. The devices must be connected to the same Wi-Fi network.    

Step 6: Tap “Start Now” to display your phone screen on your computer.   

Vysor App  

Vysor gives you the ability to view and manage the Android interface directly from your computer. It can be used to games and applications, including mouse and keyboard interaction. However, you must connect your computer to your phone using a USB cable for the setup to work.   

First step: Download the Vysor app (Android).   

Step Two: Follow the on-screen instructions to enable developer features and enable USB connectivity.   

Step 3: Connect your phone to your computer using a USB cable.   

Step Four: Download and install Vysor (vysor.io/download) on your computer.   

Step Five: Download and install Adb driver (adb.clockworkmod.com).  

Step 6: Open Vysor on your computer. Tap the red play button to mirror your Android screen.  

How to mirror your Android device with native features  

Windows provides basic functionality for pairing and using your phone with your computer. However, the screen mirroring is only available on a limited number of devices. For a list of supported models, visit the Microsoft website at support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic.   

This option can be an alternative for those who want to access the device's notifications, photos and messages directly from their Windows PC. There are smartphones that already have pre-installed mirroring features, such as Samsung DeX or SmartView, however, for those that do not have this type of tool, just follow the steps below.  

First step: Download the “Link to Windows” (Android) app to your phone.  

Step 2: Tap “Connect your mobile device to your computer”.   

Third step: Tap “Continue”. 

Step four: Click on the Start menu.   

Step 5: Find and open the “Phone Link” app.  

Step 6: Click on “Android”. Select “Pair with QR code” and scan the code on your phone.   

Step 7: Click “Continue”. Press “Continue” on your mobile device and enable the required permission.   

Step Eight: Tap “Done” to complete.
