Android tool will let you copy text directly from images. Learn more!
Android doesn't yet have an official native tool for copying text from images, but Microsoft wants to help with that process. The new feature includes a new feature for the Windows 11 program "Snipping Tool" that works by connecting the smartphone to the PC.
The program promises to make life easier for those who work or study with their cell phones. Keep reading to learn more about how this feature will work.

Capture tool
Microsoft has started testing a new feature in Windows Snipping Tool that lets you copy text from images. This feature can be found in the text button on the top bar of the program that identifies all content. From here you can use the “Copy all content” button or use your mouse to select what you want to import.
Along with this program, Microsoft has updated the tool for linking your phone to your PC, which allows you to access Android screenshots and select text from images on your computer as well.
Windows 11's snipping tool has gained a new test version (11.2308.33.0) in the Canary distribution, which is still aimed at a small group of users and is usually where the first betas come from. Here, anyone using a Microsoft operating system will finally be able to copy the image or text from the screenshot.
New buttons
The text button in the tool is responsible for displaying text on the image and allowing the user to select what they want to import, either by copying the entire content or by hovering over it. The second feature automatically deletes sensitive data, such as phone numbers and personal documents. The snipping tool is exclusive to Android.
This feature is very important in Windows 11, but at the same time as the Snipping Tool release, Microsoft started rolling out the latest version of “Link the Cell Phone” for more users. This gives you access to the most recent images from your Android phone, including screenshots, so you can copy the text in the middle of the image. Image editing is done with the same program, using the same basic features as Windows, allowing users to capture the phone screen and copy the text content to the computer.
Capture applications
For those who don’t yet have access to the tool, there are several apps that can help you capture image ceilings. One of them is PDFElement. PDFelement’s features have been recognized by the technology analysis organization TechRadar. In addition to these features, the app offers other PDF tools to help you increase your productivity.
