There are some doubts about this year's date, as some rumors also suggest that the iPhone 15 may be delayed due to production problems. Even so, expectations are high for the new generation.
According to a recent report by WSJ, the global chip shortage is one of the major factors contributing to the delays. Apple is one of the many companies that have been experiencing semiconductor shortages since 2021, linked to several factors, including the COVID-19 outbreak and increased demand for chips. The company has yet to confirm the delay in the launch of the iPhone 15. However, the WSJ report says that the launch could be delayed until October.
