See which company has the most loyal customers. The brand has beaten Apple.

A study by British consultancy firm Bionic assessed consumer loyalty to various brands/companies. Based on the figures found in the survey, Apple came in second place with 68% of loyalty, a company that managed to surpass Apple. These indicators were developed by analyzing data from the YouGov UK survey, social media and research statistics.

Apple’s numbers aren’t significantly different from another consulting firm’s 2019 finding that loyalty to the iPhone (not the company as a whole) was 73%. In other words, this is the percentage of iPhone owners who bought another iPhone instead of a different brand of smartphone when switching phones. Compared to Samsung, the US company has a much more loyal consumer base, as the Korean company ranks 24th with just 40% loyalty. In addition, Apple has gained popularity among the masses (1.01 vs. 0.82) and has further increased brand stability, with a 2.62 rating compared to its rival’s 1.15. Read on to see who beat Apple.

Netflix has the most loyal customers

The first place on the list is occupied by the little red streaming platform. Netflix company has garnered an incredible 79% of loyalty. Despite recent controversies over issues such as banning password sharing, price hikes, and declining subscriber numbers, Netflix still holds the top spot in the Bionic rankings.

While its audience awareness was lower than Apple’s (0.79), the streaming service achieved 79% of loyalty when combining loyalty (2.98), impressions (4.35) and reputation (3.62) metrics with search metrics. Also on the list were Amazon (3rd place with 65%), Starbucks (9th place with 55%) and Microsoft (11th place with 53%). The consultancy also analysed consumer loyalty to British supermarket chains, sports companies and others.

Great numbers

But back to the iPhone, even though it didn’t win, the company still had some fantastic numbers. Bionic also cited a Gitnux study that closely mirrored the findings of a 2019 study by Consumer Intelligence Research Partners (CIRP). That other firm found that 92.61% of iPhone owners plan to continue using their Apple devices, compared to 74.61% of Samsung device owners.

In addition, 64% of Apple device users say that they are very unlikely to switch to another phone brand in the future. The consultancy believes that this position among consumers is due not only to the brand image, but also to the quality, reliability and customer service of the company.

In addition to Apple and Samsung, other famous rivalries like Coca Cola and Pepsi also appear on the list, with the latter taking the lead. Pepsi managed to occupy the 16th place, while Coca Cola came in 19th.
