Apple ADMITE que o novo iPhone esquenta demais; entenda

Tech giant finally comments on the new iPhone 15's overheating issue. Here's what Apple said.

In response to criticism from users, Apple has admitted to Forbes magazine that the iPhone 15 family of phones may experience heating issues in some situations. According to a statement from the company, the fix will be implemented in a system update.

The update will come to customers who purchased the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, launched two weeks ago in the United States and other countries (sale last Friday, the 29th, in Brazil). After a few days of use, complaints were received that the phone could overheat during use.

iPhone 15 Overheating

The problem came to light through user complaints right from the first few uses. Using a variety of apps like Instagram, Uber and even games, the phone started to get quite hot.

“We’ve identified several conditions that may cause your iPhone to run hotter than expected,” Apple told Forbes’ David Phelan that during the first few days after setting up or restoring your device, there may be an increase in background activity that could cause your iPhone to start running hotter.

The company also said that the fix could be done through a system update without having to replace the device, adding: “We have also discovered a bug in iOS 17 that is impacting some users and will be fixed in a software update.” Another issue concerns recent third-party app updates that are causing system overload. Apple says it is working with these app developers on a fix that is currently being rolled out.

If you have an iPhone 15, be careful. The company recommends keeping all apps on your device up to date. Additionally, as additional editions of the iOS 17 (iPhone 15 operating system) are released, it is important for users to protect themselves and stay updated.

Despite the problems, Apple shares closed up $1.51 trillion after the market closed on Monday, June 2, this week. The company's market value is $2.7 trillion.

Other cell phone problems

Apart from the overheating issue, users have reported some other problems with the iPhone 15. Check out the main ones below.

Frozen screen

While setting up the iPhone 15, Mashable's Matt Binder reported that some users are saying their iPhone got stuck in a bootloop and displayed the Apple logo when trying to transfer data from an older iPhone. Fortunately, this issue has been resolved with a new iOS update released on the day of the phone's launch in Brazil.

iOS Slowness and Lag

Some users have complained that their iPhone 15 is extremely slow and has delayed touch responses. This issue may occur because some apps are not being updated to iOS 17 or newer generation iPhones.

Fingerprints, scratches and screen misalignment

Many users have noticed that the new titanium sides of the iPhone 15 make fingerprints more visible. There have also been complaints about scratches and misalignment of the screen. In such cases, the only option is to return the smartphone or exchange it for a new one.

Additionally, it seems that the new iPhone 15 Pro Max breaks very easily. JerryRigEverything showed how easy it is to break the back of an iPhone 15 Pro Max in a recent video. The YouTuber simply pressed the back of the device without much force and it broke completely. Strangely, this did not happen with the smaller version of the iPhone 15.
