Anatel authorizes the sale of iPhones in Brazil. Check the device's sales date.
The National Telecommunications Agency (Anatel) has confirmed the approval of four new versions of the iPhone 15 and three Smartwatch models announced by Apple last week. For those who don't know, an approval process is mandatory for any electronic product connected to the Internet.
This means that the model has passed suitability, safety and quality tests. This stage also assesses electromagnetic emissions, which have caused controversy in France. According to Anatel, the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max have been confirmed. The regulator has approved the Series 9 watch in 41mm and 45mm sizes. An Apple Watch Ultra 2 has also been confirmed, and the listing also includes confirmation of the Air Pod Pro, headphones that have been updated to accept USB-C input. The license was issued last Tuesday.
Acceptable radiation levels
Anatel also reiterated that the radiation limits of the iPhone 12 are being discussed with Apple, the Designated Certification Body (DCO) that carries out the product certification process, the laboratory that performs product sample testing, and the French National Frequency Agency. Anatel stressed in a note that the commercialization of the aforementioned products in Brazil only began after the agency's certification and approval process and laboratory testing of device samples. This ensures compliance with electromagnetic radiation restrictions.
The management body also stated that it will receive and analyze all the information collected and take appropriate measures if the cell phone really does pose a risk to consumers.
Sale date announced
Apple announced the start date and price of pre-sales of the iPhone 15 in Brazil this Thursday (21), just days after the global presentation. Those interested in purchasing the new Apple smartphone model will be able to do so from Wednesday, September 27.
Even so, Apple has not yet announced when the device will begin to be delivered, but in the online store the company already says that you can pay in up to 12 interest-free installments.

The new iPhone 15 will be available in up to five colors. The iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max only have four different colors.
